So I received my Ipsy package yesterday and I got the chance to try out the items today. If you want to read more about what Ipsy is take a look at my first post about them here. It’s basically a subscription package that comes once a month with beauty products. I love it. Its like getting a gift in the mail since I know its coming but not the exact day lol.
The makeup bag is cute as always. Here is my impression of the items I received:
Too Faced Hangover RX Primer – I tried the primer today and it worked great. I didn’t find myself feeling oily after a few hours of running errands. The box states that it is a replenishing makeup primer. Coconut water, probiotic-based ingredients, and skin revivers work together to boost radiance, promote elasticity and help hydrate while locking down makeup for fresher, longer and more flawless wear. I would purchase a full size of this.
Power Lash Mascara – I used this mascara along with a primer. It didn’t do anything special for my lashes but I will use the whole sample.
Revlon Blush/Powder Brush – I used this brush when I applied blush this morning. I felt it was a little to small to apply my powder foundation. Application went well. I will continue to use it. I don’t see myself buying the big size as I have a great deal of brushes. I would recommend if you don’t have a big brush collection.
Not Soap Radio Hand Lotion – Smelled really good. If see it in the store I would purchase a full size. Its hand lotion there isn’t much to say about it lol.
theBalm Mr. Write Now Eyeliner Pencil – If this pencil was black I would have tried it but it was brown. So unfortunately I can’t give a review on it. 🙁
So I would purchase the full size of 3 out of the 5 products sent to me. Not bad.

Guys I’m seriously having a problem with acne. My face isn’t the clearest but before I got pregnant it had cleared up really well. Can anyone recommend a good foundation that wont make me break out more?
