Every Sunday I sit down and plan my week. I use a bullet journal. I love that I can make the layout exactly what I need. I also like that I can pretty much put whatever I want in it. If I want to use a whole page for one day I can. Although I wouldn’t I would hope I’m never that busy that it takes a whole page lol. This week is a birthday theme because the 10th is my birthday. I don’t usually decorate a whole lot because I do still like my planner to be functional it’s not all about the decorations. I do like it to be pretty though so I usually pick a theme based on what’s is going on that week. I didn’t buy one of the moleskin journals since I couldn’t find one and I didn’t want to wait to order one so I just brought a regular journal from Staples.
Here are the items I used for this week:
I use two pages for my week. I used to use one but I ended up needing more room. I begin by covering the top and bottom of the pages with washi tape and making my outline.
Then I write in the date. The first page is Mon-Sat and Sunday goes over to the second page. I also add a section to write down things I am grateful for, my weekly devotional, things I need to buy that I will forget, my workout tracker and my blog posts for next week. Sometimes I use stickers and others I will handwrite or stencil them in depending on how creative I’m feeling that day. The first page is Mon-Sat and Sunday goes over to the second page. I also add a section to write down things I am grateful for, my weekly devotional, things I need to buy that I will forget, my workout tracker and my blog posts for next week.
I then write in the dates and temperatures for the week. I write the temperatures so that I can plan accordingly throughout the week as I dress the girls for school or if I decide to workout outside.
After that I fill in the blocks with the appointments and things I need to do.
I can then decorate. I still try to leave room just in case there are things I need to add.
How do you stay organized?
